Reliance Utilities was founded in 2014 by Dmitry Gafiyatulin, initially as an outsourced sales agent for various power companies, before moving into energy brokering.
Dmitry could see an imbalance in the New Zealand energy industry where customer personal needs were neglected. This inspired him to move into brokering where he could begin making the electricity and gas industry fair for everyone.
